2012 was the first Electric Beach event and was less “festival” more mass beach party with old skool beats from hip hop legends and next level mixologists. This summer the golden sands of Watergate Bay, near Newquay, will see the 3rd Electric Beach.Playing host to two and a half thousand sun and sand worshippers, the days musical entertainment will be starting from 1pm right through till the sun goes down at 10pm. In addition to the music there will be loads of beach activities, surfing and dance offs with more surprises to be confirmed.

KIDS TICKETSUnder 4's go free to Electric Beach but you need to contact the festival organisers before you arrive so they know how many little one's your are bringing. More information is available direct from Electric Beach.
NEED TO KNOWElectric Beach kicks-off at Watergate Beach at 13:00 and plays out until22:00 That gives you an hour to regroup and head over to the after party scene which start at 23:00.
ROADExit for the Highgate Hill Roundabout from the A30. Take the 3rd exit for the A39 towards Wadebridge & Newquay. At the Halloon roundabout, take the 3rd exit, continuing on the A39 towards Wadebridge. At the next roundabout take the 1st exit onto the A3059, signposted to St Mawgan and the Airport. After about 1 mile exit toward St Mawgan and the Airport. At the B3276 ‘T’ junction, turn left to Watergate.
BUSYour best bet is the local bus from Newquay bus station.
RAILSt Austell rail station is the closest to the Electric Beach Festival site. The station is served by all First Great Western trains on the Cornish Main Line between Penzance and Plymouth. Some trains run from London Paddington station via Exeter St Davids, including the Night Riviera overnight sleeping car service. There are a limited number of CrossCountry trains providing a service to North England and Scotland in the morning and returning in the evening. You can also get to Electic Beach via Newquay.
AIRThe nearest major airport is Newquay Cornwall Airport (NQY / EGHQ). This airport has international and domestic flights and is about 4 miles from the center of Newquay.
