|DATE:||1 - 3 August 2014|
|LOCATION:||Lowther Deer Park, Hackthorpe (nr Penrith), Cumbria, England, UK|
In 2006 Kendal Calling was born from a group of music lovers who felt the fields of Cumbria could be put to better use during the summer months and so began the whirlwind of music, fun and frolics.In the years since Kendal Calling has become one the North-West's major independent festivals collecting the UK Live's Best Small Festival award in 2010 and 2011. Kendal Calling built on its award winning momentum and its ever growing reputation for live performances and attendances saw it win Best Medium Festival in 2013, beating stiff competition from Latitude, Green Man and Camp Bestival. If all that isn't a a pretty good indication you should answer when Kendal is calling then we don't know what is.
